I create functional, wheel-thrown pottery with occasional hand-built elements. Working primarily in white stoneware, I use carving, underglazes, and glazes to add texture, color, and depth. Most pieces are electric-fired to cone 6, though some are wood- or gas-fired
with salt or soda. My work often features tactile surfaces and a strong decorative focus.
Rooted in a queer perspective, influenced by life in the Pacific Northwest, my designs range from playful, rainbow-themed pieces to explorations of the nude male form. I aim to create affirming, accessible work—pottery I wish I’d seen growing up. I’m especially drawn to reimagining how the male nude is represented, offering a view that’s intimate and sensual while also sexual—work that brings beauty and vulnerability into everyday spaces.
